Icon
The Google Photos icon can only be used in device shots, or in marketing collateral where Google Photos appears prominently in header copy.
Use the icon in the context of a home screen UI. Display the label exactly as it does on the device.

Color and backgrounds
Use the logo lockup on white backgrounds.
Use the white monochrome icon on dark backgrounds.
Use the gray monochrome icon on a white or light background.
Don’t use the full color icon on a dark background or imagery.
Don’t use the black icon on dark backgrounds.
Don’t use the monochrome white icon on bright backgrounds.
Clear space
Please leave enough clear space around the icon. The minimum clear space is half the height of the icon (X) on all sides of the icon.
Clear space requirements
Horizontal format is preferred in most scenarios.
Incorrect usage
Do not change the angle of the icon.
Do not add effects to the icon.
Do not create a black monochrome icon.
Do not change the order of colors on the icon.
Do not put the full color icon on a brightly saturated flat color.
Do not put the full color icon on a black background.
