How to use the Google Photos icon
Use Cases
The Google Photos icon can only be used in device shots, or in marketing collateral where Google Photos appears prominently in header copy.
Use the icon in the context of a home screen UI. Display the label exactly as it does on the device.

Color Versions
Full color
Use this version on white backgrounds or light backgrounds with a maximum 5% black tint.
Monochrome white
Use this version on dark or patterned backgrounds, or on imagery when there’s enough contrast. It can be placed on dark backgrounds within a range of 40% to 100% black tint.
Monochrome black
Use this version on white or light backgrounds within a range of 0% to 40% black tint.
Background
Always ensure legibility when placing the Google Photos icon on a photo background.
Don’t use the full-color icon on dark backgrounds or imagery.
Don’t use the monochrome black icon on dark backgrounds or imagery.
Don’t use the monochrome white icon on light backgrounds or imagery.
Clear space
Use half the height of the icon to determine the minimum amount of clear space on all sides of the icon.
Things to avoid
Don’t change the angle of the icon.
Don’t add effects to the icon or alter the icon in any way, including changing the colors or order of the colors.
Don’t place the full-color icon on a brightly saturated or black background
