Help keep your family safer online
Family Link gives parents the tools they need to create a safer online experience for their kids and empower them to build healthy digital habits together.
Family Link provides tools that respect families’ individual choices with technology, helping them create healthy, positive digital habits. With easy‑to‑use tools, you can understand how your child is spending time on their device, share location, manage privacy settings, and more.1
How Family Link works
Family Link helps parents stay in the loop and keep their child or teen safer as they explore online.
Parents can set up a Google Account for someone under 13 (or applicable age in your country2) and can supervise and manage that account with Family Link. Parents can also supervise a teen’s existing Google Account and Android or ChromeOS devices.
Once a parent helps manage their child’s account, they can use Family Link to seamlessly keep an eye on screen time, easily locate their children on one map, and guide their child to age-appropriate content.
Establish digital ground rules
Manage content filters, security and privacy

Parents can manage their child’s apps and set screen time limits to help their child find a healthy balance.
Family Link lets parents manage what their child sees online and keep their account and data settings secure.
