Attribution statement
Google’s brand features (product names, logos, screenshots, and other distinctive features) can only be used with our explicit permission. If you have permission to use our trademarks in your marketing materials, you’ll need to include an attribution statement in all creative, with a couple of exceptions:
- Social media posts don’t need an attribution statement.
- On banners and other clickable creative, the attribution statement can be included on the destination landing page.
Use our Legal line generator to automatically create the correct legal line for your marketing materials. Just choose the brands and languages to generate the appropriate attribution statement instantly.

Usage rights
When showing YouTube, YouTube Premium, or YouTube Music UI screens, you’ll need to obtain the rights for all content shown on the screen.
Keep in mind that YouTube generally doesn’t own the rights to the content featured on our apps. You’ll need to reach out directly to the content owners to show their content in your marketing.
