How to Talk about Google Photos
When talking about Google Photos, or referring to Google Photos in text, please keep in mind the following requirements.
Editorial Guidelines
Always use "Google Photos" as the product name - for both mobile and web - in all user-facing communications.
Always capitalize the P in "Photos."
Do not shorten the name to just "Photos" or change the name in any other way.
Use "with" or "from" before Google Photos.
Do not use "on" before Google Photos.
To reference the user's photo collection, use "your Google Photos library" or "photos from Google Photos."
Do not say "your Google Photos" to reference the user's photo collection.
Clearly attribute product benefits to Google Photos.
Do not use the name of the API to promote integration with Google Photos to consumers.
Use "in" before Google Photos to refer to features.
Do not add an apostrophe to make Google Photos possessive.
Capitalize all feature names as shown in these guidelines.
Do not capitalize "edit photos just by asking" or other phrases that are not official feature names.
Highlighting Google Photos benefits
Google Photos is the product name on mobile and web. This is the branded term to be used in all user communication. Do not use the name of the API or any API when promoting the integration with Google Photos to consumers.
When referencing any of the product benefits, make sure to attribute them to Google Photos.
