Editorial guidelines
When talking about Android, or referring to Android in text, please keep in mind the following requirements.
Capitalization, plurals, possessive
The word “Android” should always be capitalized and never be used as a plural or possessive. Please do not use “the” before Android.

Don't use these examples
Android as a descriptor
Android may be used as a descriptor, as long as it is followed by a relevant generic term and not a brand name. Think of “Android” as a term used in place of “the Android platform.”
